The privacy of your personal information is important to ViS. To better protect your privacy, we provide you with our Privacy Policy so that you will understand our commitment to you and to your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what information we may collect about you, how we use your information, how we protect it and what choices you have on how that information is used.

Any person or entity accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the ViS website and/or the ViS Services shall be considered a "User" and is bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. Users consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of personally identifiable user information pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect information you give us and also from your use of our services, including information about you that is provided on your behalf by another person you have authorized. Examples of the information we collect about you include your name, address, email address, telephone number, company name, questionnaire data and responses. We also collect information about the services you use and how you use them, which may include collecting information such as your ViS system preferences, questionnaire responses, server logs, network connections, and IP addresses. We may use various technologies to automatically collect and store information when you use a ViS service, and this may include sending one or more cookies or other anonymous identifiers to your device.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, protect, and improve all ViS Services, including fee and no-fee services. We may re-use information you have provided in response to different questions of a questionnaire in order to pre-populate your responses in subsequent questionnaires containing the same questions. We may also use your information to compile data to, for example, provide more tailored search results and to better connect you and other users. If you don't want to be in our mailing list, you can opt out anytime by contacting us. We may use your personal information to send important notices such as communications about changes to our terms and policies. Since this information is important to your interaction with ViS, you may not opt out of receiving such communications.

ViS takes precautions, including but not limited to administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard your personal information against loss, theft, and misuse, as well as against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. In particular, we use technical controls to verify access to your ViS account and to secure the information we collect online, and these controls include applying the secure socket layer (SSL) protocol, encryptions, firewalls and password protections. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access.

To make sure your personal information is secure, we communicate our privacy and security guidelines to our employees, contractors and agents and strictly enforce privacy safeguards within the company. In addition, we restrict access to personal information to ViS employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to do their jobs for us.

We may provide links to other websites for your convenience and information. These websites are not within our control and may not follow the same privacy or security policies. Once you link to another website, you are subject to the policies of that website. We are not responsible for the content of linked websites or any use of the websites.

ViS may disclose your personal information if necessary by law, legal process, litigation, and/or requests from public and governmental authorities within or outside your country of residence. We may also disclose information about you if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce our terms and conditions or protect our operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all personal information we collect to the relevant third party.

ViS reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post any changes on this page and, in certain circumstances, we may send an email notification of privacy policy changes.
